Restaurant Website

Pasta Amore was a new restaurant that catered to families and hoped to share traditional Italian dishes filled with love. I had previously designed a menu, brochure, and table tent for them, so now they needed me to design and develop a responsive website as well. Once again, I followed their style guide which set forth their color palette, logo (and its variations), and primary typography.

The restaurant's mission is to provide a modern twist on timeless classics. Per their style guide, I used Goudy Old Style as the main typeface of the website, because it is easy to read and lends itself to send a traditional yet modern message.

To enhance the printed items, I added some extra functionality to the website like catering, gift cards, and contact pages. I also added a convenient feature to the navigation bar, which is that when a user clicks on either the phone number or location of the restaurant, they are directed to make a phone call or to Google maps, respectively. Besides that, the website provides easy access to the restaurant's many social media pages, which can help increase customer engagement.

A website is a fantastic addition to any new business, because it can help them with their marketing, to build their branding, and to increase their credibility.
